Karama Festival :
This festival is mainly celebrated by the tribes of Sambalpur, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,and Bolangir.This festival commences during the Rainy season on the 11th day of the Bhadra Month. The tribes worship Karamasani or Karama.
Bhagoriya Festival :
This festival is mainly celebrated by the tribes of Madhya Pradesh. The meaning of Bhagoria is run. This festival uniquely celebrates the eloping of couples. Mass Swayamvars are performed during this festival where the girl applies gulal on the forehead of the guy whom she chooses as her husband. This festival celebrates love, color and life.
Gobardhan Festival :
This festival is solely dedicated to cattle’s and cow. This festival is feted with great fervor and gaiety in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. This festival is celebrated on16th of Kartik (October to November).On this day cattle’s and cows are festooned with oil, and are fed with fodder.
