The swinging palace or the Hindola Mahal, the name is derived from the way it is constructed since it is sloping towards its sidewalls. This was one of the visiting place of the people and the place to meet around the Ghiyas-ud-din-Khilji's period. The building was constructed in a very creative and in innovative way. The entrances are constructed with the stairs following with the sculptures of elephants. The decorative faced and the beautiful trellises are present on the molded way that created a very picturesque view of this amazing sandstone structure. The western part of the structure contains many huge structure that talks about the grandeur and glory that History has. The most amazing structure is the Champ Baoli or a pond which is well developed and an underground arrangement of vaulted structure was separately made for the hot and cold waters. There are many things close to Hindola palace Dilawar Khan's Mosque, Taveli Mahal, Nahar Jharokha, along with two wells dwelling are known as Andheri Baoli (pond) and Ujali, Gada Sada Shop and houses. All the things present on this place are very interesting and worth seeing. |
