Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, India :

Pasighat is one of the most former towns in Arunachal Pradesh, which was established in the year 1911. At present it is situated in the Siang district. The town is often called as the “Gateway” of Arunachal Pradesh, as it is derived from the name ‘Pasis’, a popular tribe in the area. The hill station offers exquisite natural beauty and is situated at a height of 155m with a population of approx. 78, 000. During winter, the climate is temperate and in summers it is hot & humid. In winters, the temperature reaches to 23°C and during summers it is about 32°C. The best recommended time to visit pleasurable travel at Pasighat Hill station is in during the month of October - April.

The amateurs can start their river rafting from Sirki or Yambung towards Pasighat with rapids of 2 & 3 degrees.

Angling and Fishing : There are lots of places such as Siom, Bodak, Yingkiong, etc that allows amazing sports for Angling and Fishing. The legendary Mahseer catches 20-30 kg which is not uncommon.
