Assam is the land of approximately (twenty-five million people) located in the Northeastern side of India; this state is one of the naturalistic state. Assam is also known as the mystic land of valleys and hills. The name (Assam) is derived from a Sanskrit word, (Asom) which means unrivalled or unequal. The uneven geography of Assam, full of rivers, hills and plains, as a result have added to the name. The state of Assam was ruled by the Dynasty of Mongolian Ahom for approximately 600 years.
