Loktak Lake is an absolute tiny inland sea, which is situated at near Imphal. The Sendre islands at Loktak Lake offer a brilliant panoramic view of the lake. The Red Hill if of great historical value as it is the site of battle between British and Japanese forces during Second World War. A monument constructed in the memory of slain Japanese soldiers is erected near the war site.
