The town of Bishnupur is also famous for chiseled stoneware. The Kanina hillock is 921 mt high and is a holy place for Hindu people. The place becomes more beautiful to look at once the tales of its creation is narrated to tourists.

Loktak Lake is an absolute tiny inland sea, which is situated at near Imphal. The Sendre islands at Loktak Lake offer a brilliant panoramic view of the lake. The Red Hill if of great historical value as it is the site of battle between British and Japanese forces during Second World War. A monument constructed in the memory of slain Japanese soldiers is erected near the war site.
