Importance : One Of The Most Important Chorten Of Sikkim

Duddul Chortenat Dotapu Chorten which is situated in Gangtok was constructed under late Trulshi Rinpoche’s after due arrangements in 1945-46.

Chief Attractions :

Do drul Chorten is considered to be the most significant Sikkim’s Chorten. Just about the chorten hundred and eight Mani-Lhokor are established. Chortne Lhakhang is in surrounding of the chorten, here there is an establishment of two great statues of Guru Rinpoche, there is also a mediation centre called Drupda, Institute to  Nyingma Higher Studies and many smaller monuments which includes Trulshi Rinpoche and the 'kudung'.

The Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology and other Buddhist Studies (SRITOBS) have their location in the close proximity of Chorten.
