Zoological Park of Himalaya. is an area for flora and fauna lovers in the state of Sikkim. Zoological Park of Himalaya has been founded, to conserve the flora and fauna, without upsetting the animals and observing the ones in their innate environment. Situated in (Bulbuley), The Zoological Park of Himalaya, is placed at a short distance of three kms away from the town of (Gangtok). A height of 1,780 mtrs (5,840ft) the (Zoological squares of Himalaya) also gives an impressive sight of the most alluring mountain (Mt. Khangchendzonga). The Zoological Park of Himalaya sways in an undulating region of (Two Hundred and Five hectares) in rocky topography.

Found in the year 1991, (Zoological Park of Himalaya) is the 1st park uniquely designed park of this kind placed in the (Northern-East) side of India. Zoological Park of Himalaya achieves the insight of a contemporary zoo, where all the flora and fauna are set aside in simulated natural circumstances. Maximum area of this lavish park is sheltered by jungles which abodes the Himalayan Black Bear, Red Panda, Barking Deer Musk Deer and Blue Sheep. This is an unbolt zoo. Government of Sikkim has planned various programmes to draw the attention of maximum number of tourists like the Ropeway, which will make the whole experience of the tourist very adventurous.

An asphalt road has been prepared that bypasses the evaded open-air areas. These areas embraces Bears, Common Langurs,Himalayan Palm Civet, Goral Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Leopard Cat, Barking Deer, Tibetan Wolf, Red Pandas, in their normal environment. There are a few Jungle Norms which you need to follow as soon as you enter the premises of the jungle like being patient, not talking loudly, No littering, smoking, outside eatables allowed etc. The apt time to throng in to this wildlife sanctuary swings in between (Middle of February) - (May) and (Middle of September) - (December).
