By Air : The state has its lone airport situated at Agartala. Agartala airport schedules regular flights to Guwahati, Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai and Silchar.
Tripura is linked with rest of India through the state of Assam by Meter gauge railway line. This railways line extends from Tripura to Lumding and then to Silchar. The prime railways stations of the state are located in Dharmanagar, Agartala, Kumarghat.
The National Highway number 44 connects Tripura to Assam and subsequently to the rat of India.
