Bhuvaneswari Temple is one of the most former places of worship in this state. This place has immense tourist magnetism.
Bhuvaneswari place of worship is located on the north bank of Gomti River at the city of Udaipur. This place of worship was constructed by King Govinda Manakya.This temple was built amid the time of (1660 to 1675 A.D). The place of worship is built on 3 feet elevated porch. The top represent the 4 chaala fashion. Topes are built at the doorway and central part hall of the place of worship. The topes are festooned with flower-patterned motifs.
This place of worship has always been the main setting of the renowned work of fiction ("Rajarshi") and play of ("Bisharjan”) written by the jewel of Indian Literature Rabindranath Tagore. |
