By air :


The nearest airport is Lohagaon airport is located at a short distance of 10 kilometer from the middle of Pune city. Regular domestic flights are available to and from this airport, which well connects to other major cities of India. Other important cities which link to Pune are Mumbai (Bombay), Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, and more. For international tourist people, they can reach Mumbai International Airport first and then can board other domestic flight for Pune. There are many Indian Airlines and also additional private airlines which operate regular domestic flights to Pune from Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and many more. It also provides three different regular flights from Mumbai (Bombay) on daily basis. And from Bangalore and Chennai, there are 4 main flights per week to reach Pune. Once you hail here you can take bus or taxis that are available outside the airport.

By rail :


Pune is the main railway junction in all the Indian Railways. It provides a good network of rails that well connects to other major cities of Pune and India. There are many trains and expresses offered to and from Pune, which you can board from any corner of Indian cities. From Mumbai city here are some of the main trains which run through many small towns and cities to reach, they are Deccan Queen Shatabdi, Pragati, Indravani, Deccam Express, and many more. This expresses and trains runs everyday and it takes around four to five hours to reach Pune city.

By road :


Pune provides a good network of motorable roads that well connects to major cities of Maharashtra and states of India. There are many public transport facilities available here like bus, taxis, and auto rickshaws, which you can choose any one while traveling to reach Sinhagad Fort. Regular state buses are available to and from Pune that connects cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Goa. From Mumbai (Bombay) city, there are many frequent bus facilities including private luxury buses as well as government that will assist you to reach at this fort. From Mumbai, this tourist spot is located at a distance of 200 kilometer. You can get taxis and auto rickshaws outside railway station which will aid you to reach this place.
