The city of Faridabad has been named after Baba Farid who founded it in early 17th century. It is Haryana's largest city and is a major industrial town. Nahar Singh Palace : Constructed by Balram, the palace is also called Ballabgarh Fort. The palace is named after the ruler Nahar Singh; it is a fine architectural monument. It was recently refurbished with antique pieces and age old relics.
