Hadsar :

Hadsar is in the western corner of Himachal Pradesh above the Budhil Nala. It is the starting point of the yatra known as Manimahesh Kailash and Manimahesh Lake. The Nala flows into the Ravi River is one of the important things in the system of Indus.

The road of Hadsar is 13 kms from Chamba State at Brahmaur to the lake which has a difference of 3,950 meters and there are attractive mountains which passes through Kalicho, Chobia, Kugti and that goes to the Lahul Valley.

The experience to reach Hadsar takes the tourists to a different track where they feel relaxed as if they are in heaven. To reach Brahmaur, one has to go through the road and climb Ravi and Budhil for 65 kms constantly. The ancient town has the Chaurasi temple of 8th to 10th century and is worshiped by Gaddi’s. The air that goes and comes is a special thing in these mountains which gives you the best experience.

Climate :

Due to the mountains surrounded all over,the Climate is very cold in winters and has heavy snowfall but is pleasant in summers. Heavy woolen clothes are must during the winters as the temperature sometimes goes below freezing point. The best time to visit this place is in summers when there is lot of sunshine and the view is very clear.

Air : The nearest airport is Gaggla that is 170 kms away from Chamba

Railway : The nearest railway station is Pathankot which is118 kms away from Chamba. Almost all trains stop at this station.

Road : You need to reach Chamba and from there it is just 78 kms away.

There are many decent places available like the local hotels and lodges available at reasonable prices in Chamba. Private lodges are available in Bharmaur.
