From middle of May to middle of October. Try to avoid the winter and trekking routes are closed during that time especially in Ladakh.

By Air : The state has three domestic airports namely Bhuntar Airport, Shimla Airport serving the areas cities Kullu and Manali, and Gaggal Airport serves the cities Dharamsala and Kangra.
By Road : The network of road in Himachal Pradesh is approximately 28,208 km and it includes 8 national highways. The tourist spots and major cities are well connected through roads and can be reached easily.
By Rail : the railway line Pathankot–Jogindernagar connects Himachal with Punjab. There are oter railway lines that pass from Shimla, Una and Solan. From Shimla some of the important cities of Himachal can be accessed through train. |
