Just about 7 km, away from the west side of the Ridge, are the silent Chadwick Falls that hide clear of the Summer Hills in Shimla. The falls span at a distance of 2 km from the Summer Hills, which is ahead of the falls. The altitude from which these falls plunge down is a good figure of 1,586 m. The current gorges of the Chadwick Falls are silent and quiet. But a few centuries ago, the thrusting water roared over here and the roars echoes from all directions. The current Chadwick Falls are at a location where once there existed a site of aquatic exhibition by nature.
There are regular airway services from Delhi - Shimla - Kullu that are operated by Indian Airlines. By rail, Shimla and Kalka are well connected.
