This is one of the beautiful and pleasant Hill stations, which is very popular with tourists and visitors. Chail Sanctuary is surrounded by Oak and Deodar forests along with grasslands, the entire village has been bounded by this; it is a house of a number of wildlife. In 1976, 21st March, this sanctuary was reported; it is situated in Shimla district's Chail village. Chail sanctuary is stretched over ten thousand eight fifty four hectares. Here you can see the Black bear of Himalaya, Goral, White-Silver Oak, Red deer, Sambar, Leopard, Barking Deer, Rhesus Macaque, Throated Marten , prevalent Giant, Indian Hare, Indian Porcupine, Chir Pheasants etc. In the year of 1988, the treatment program and Chir Pheasant propagation begun. In the Jhajja and Blossom Chir Pheasant propagation center, tourists like you are always welcome. At Dawn and Dusk, you will surely get an opportunity to meet the Kalijin and Barking deer. This is a nice place to practice trekking to Jhaja from Chali, to Gaura from Chali. Here you will get to see the pleasant and beautiful view of colorful wildlife and white peaks.
