Daranghati Sanctuary is one more interesting sanctuary of Himachal Pradesh.It is situated on Shimla district's upper part, still this forest has kept their beauty secured, it is a virgin forest along with a numbers of wildlife, it got registered on March 27th 1974 . The complete land over which this entire sanctuary stands is about sixteen thousand seven hundred and forty hectares. The wild animals which can be seen here are Brown dear, Barking Deer, Goral, Black Bear of Himalaya, prevalent flying Squirrel, blue sheep, yellow Marten of Himalaya & Himalayan Weasel. To roam inside the sanctuary there are inspection paths and bridle paths. Before roaming inside the sanctuary, one thing you should do is find assistance, from the forest staff that is located at Sarahan and Dofda. It is the best place if you want to refresh your body by trying some adventure, because it is a favorable place for Trekking on high mountains.
