Punjab is known for its cities that have preserved its ethnic culture since centuries and are the precursors of traditional heritage. Endowed with ancient heritage of art and antiquity, cities of Punjab are the beautiful blend of old and new. Most of these are reminiscent of royal grandeur and regal ethos that were the call of the day.

Pathankot is famous for its culture exuberance and traditional outlook. Shahpur Kandi, a prestigious fort resting among awesome sceneries is its main attraction. Kathgarh, another tourist attraction of the city is known for two ever changing sacred stones. Amritsar, the historic city famous for its larger than life Golden Temple is a major hotspot for the tourists. Jalandara, a city of laureates, is also a leader in manufacturing sports goods, handicraft items, and parts of automotives. The place is associated with some of the finest works of Punjabi literature. Devi Talab and Tulsi are the its popular Temples a museum dedicated to Bhagat Singh and other martyrs is an epitome of the supreme sacrifice made by these revolutionaries.

Kapurthala, a princely state before Independence, is one of those cities of Punjab that are a showcase of the exquisite architecture of its monuments and palaces; French styled Jagatjit's Palace houses exotic pieces of art. Durbar Hall is a symbol of simplicity while Elysee Place is built as an elegant façade.

The otherwise agrarian economy of Ludhiana thrives on its textile and hosiery market. A leading producer of grains, the city fulfills the needs of many parts of the country. The city is rich with its cultural heritage of folk music and dance. There are many religious sites that form a part of this city. Shrimanji Sahib, Tiger Zoo, and Rural Museum are eye-catchy destinations. At Hardy's World, you can entertain yourself by theme parties and water sports. Tourists can also enjoy adventurous sports like ice skating or spend time enjoying adventurous rides.

The city of Patiala is a center of excellence; its art galleries, monuments, and Forts make it one of the finest tourists places. Moti Bagh, an imposing structure adorned with extensive ornamentation that is seen in its grills and water channels. Connected to Bansar Ghar via a suspension bridge, this tourist hotspot presents some eye catchy scenes. Another attraction that adds to the beauty of Patiala and makes it stand out from other cities of Punjab is Sheesh Mahal.

Its Rock Garden is a brilliant example of creativity and architecture. Sukhna Lake allows you to enjoy boating and skiing activities. Rose Garden and Leisure Valley are added attractions of Chandigarh. A major portion of the city is covered with lush greenery and ild life.
