Punjab state of India is located in India's northern eastern part. Climate of Punjab is distinguished through extreme cold and extreme hot conditions. Punjab state is located close to Himalaya's foot hills, it receives a large rainfall, and some part of Punjab is located at some distance away from the hilly area. Punjab state's rainfall is measly & here temperature is very high. Climate of this state contains 3 seasons, those are summer, rainy and winter. Punjab state experiences summer season from middle of April till June endand rainy season starts from early July till December end. People of Punjab enjoy winter season from early December till February end. Punjab state's middle seasons are post monsoon and post winter. This state experiences rain from two fifty mm to one thousand mm during January, the temperature gets down till five degree in the night time, and in morning it goes upto twelve degree. The period before Monsoon stays dry and little bit fair. After the winter season, brief showers and hail storms generates that damages the crops. While the ending of March month, wind gets dry. Climate of Punjab is one of the essential factors of this state, because it is contributing to the state's economy.
