Another popular dance of Punjab is Sammi which received its name from the legendary damsel of Punjab Sammi. Jhumar, Kikli and karthi are some of the well known dances of Punjab.

The richness and robustness of the culture is reflected in Punjabi Cuisines as well. Non-vegetarian food items form an integral part in a Punjabi kitchen.
