Birla Museum of Science and Technology is located at Pilani Rajasthan in the campus of Vidya Vihar and constructed in 1954. The museum contains the latest frameworks of material, working models, science and illustrative diagrams, photographs charts and scientific equipments which explain the precepts of science. The museum also contains Gandhi Gallery and Aerodynamics Gallery. Pilani, a small town of premier business place of the industrial folk, the Birlas.
Birla Museum posses a temple of Goddesses Saraswati, the Goddess is known for arts and knowledge, this temple is very well known has Sharda Peeth this was established by Dr. GD Birla. This temple is located on the height of 7 feet high basement, with area spread along 25000 sq feet and with 70 pillar support; this is wholely reinforced with marble. The temple has a mix reflection of modern technology and ancient spirituality. Additionally the structure of the temple is a mix replica of Khandariya temple at Khajuraho and of North Indian scheme of construction.
