One can get a panoramic view of the Almora town from the Binsar hills. The Binsar hills which are commonly called Jhandi Dhar also offer some of the rewarding scenes of Kumaon Himalayas.

Jalna :
Jalna is located at a distance of 59 kms from Binsar and it is perched at a height of 5500 ft. the grand height of the city makes it quite attractive as it enables visitors to have a wide view of the Himalayas. Another attraction in Jalna is a fruit orchard. The city harbors several fruit orchards that produce fruit such as peaches, apricots, plums, pears and apples.
Jageshwar :
This is yet another religious center of the Hindus where the spirit of Shiva prevails. Jageshwar is a temple town, which houses 12 jyotirlingas of India. This town lies on the road that leads to Almora from Pithoragarh. The town includes a gigantic temple complex consisting 124 temples. This complex is famous for the pristine glory it preserves, exhibition of architectural finesse and the natural settings.
