There have been washrooms provided and changing rooms (on paid basis) for people to use the water from these springs for medicating themselves. Some people also bathe in the pond that collects below, near the foothills, where the falling water rests after coming down the great plunges. To reach the Sahastra Dhara falls, there are regular bus services from the city of Dehradun, and other nearby and major cities in Uttarakhand.
