Anjaneya Swami Temple, Andhra Pradesh, India :
Anjaneya Swami Temple is situated in Kasapuram, Gooty Taluk of Anantapur district. The temple is many pilgrims coming from different parts of Kurnool, Anantapur and Bellary districts. On Saturdays people usually come to worship this god.
In this place of pilgrimage, in frontal of the god there are tonsure and marriage ceremonies executed. This temple is very famous here and the most amazing part of this temple is that people of Muslim religion also visit here with lot of respect. This has been the unique feature of this place and has attracted many people.
This temple is luxuriantly gifted with landed possessions. The local ritual connected the fixing of the god in the shrine with ‘Sri Vyasaraya Swami’ of Seshahali in Mysore. The unusual part of this place is that even people of Muslim religion visit this place with lot of offerings. There is a festival celebrated every year on the next day of Ugadi where a big parade is taken out. Many people participate in this parade and is celebrated with lot of joy and people give sweets and many things as offerings.
