In Andhra Pradesh, the beautiful and breathtaking waterfalls are at Kuntala, Ethipothala and Tirupati. Neat Nagarjuna Sagar there is Ethipothala waterfalls which is situated in a beautiful valley and is a popular picnic spot. The highest waterfall is Kuntala waterfalls in Adilabad district. The devotees who come to Srisailam temple visit Paladhara and Panchadhara which are small waterfalls. The waterfalls like Akashaganga waterfalls in Tirumala and near Tirupati is Kailashnath Kona waterfalls and Thalakona are popular among people and known for its scenic beauty.

Andhra Pradesh is also renowned for its ethnicity, language, populace and foodstuff all over the country. The Hyderabad food is very well-known like the Hyderabadi Biryani. People who travel to Hyderabad should have the tasty Biryani and the non-veg Hyderabadi Biryani there are mainly known all over the country.

Waterfalls in Andhra Pradesh :

Akashaganga is a beautiful and small waterfall situated close to the temple which is at a distance of 9 kms. In Tirumala there is Sri Varahaswami temple located to the north of the Sri Venkateswara temple that is on the banks of Swami Puskarani. The waterfall lies in Tirumala of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. The other close by attraction to this waterfall is Papavinasanam, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Gardens, Lepakshi Emporium, Asthana Mandapam and many more places.
Anupu Waterfalls is situated at a distance of 4 kms from Nagarjuna Sagar in Andhra Pradesh. The important finds there are Ruins of an ancient Buddhist University.

Ethipothala Watefalls is a well known picnic spots at a distance of around 11 kms downstream from Nagarjuna Sagar dam that is set beautifully in the valley. It falls in the Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. The other close by attractions is Nagarjuna Konda and dam.

Kailashnath Kona Waterfalls is one of the famous and beautiful places which attract number of people. In India, Tirupati is the major and most popular pilgrim center. There are number of attractions close to this place from which one of these is Kailashnath Kona waterfall. This is a perpetual waterfall where the water comes from a split in a sheet rock and the water is crystal clear that has considerable mineral value.

Kuntala waterfall is located in Kuntal village which is a small village. This village is around 11 kms away from Nirmal in Adilabad district. The population of this village is around 145 people. It is situated on the banks of river Kadam which is tributary of Godavari River. This waterfall is very popular among people as it is the highest waterfall of Andhra Pradesh and is visited by number of people in the month from August to September.

Paladhara and Panchadhara falls is placed on the banks of Krishna River which is another significant pilgrim center of South India. It is situated at a distance of 232 kms from Hyderabad. Paladhara and Panchadhara falls are two little waterfall situated close to Srisailam.

Sankara is located in Vishakhapatnam in Anakapaale at a distance of around 2 kms. The name Sankara is derived from Sangharama term. Running towards the east and west are two low contiguous rock hills and these are locally popular as the Bojjanakonda. There are some remarkable Buddhist remains of the state.

Thalakona Waterfalls is located in Tirupati and is at a distance of 30 kms from there. It lies in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh. The best time one can enjoy this site is from October to February. There are number of people who visit this place and people who come to Tirupati mostly come to this place after visiting the shrine. This is one of the famous places where people come from near and far places.
