Anupu Waterfalls
is sited at a distance of 4 kms from Nagarjuna Sagar in Andhra Pradesh. The vital findings here are Ruins of an ancient Buddhist University.

During the construction of the Nagarjunasagar dam-(is world’s largest masonry dam), the ruins of Buddhist university were excavated. These ruins have been cautiously rebuilt at Anupu on the east bank of the reservoir, a feat alike to the ‘Abu Simbel’ effort in Egypt in Anupu.

Tips before Trip :

Please take special care of the small children when going in the waterfall. Take a pair of clothing and shoes and foodstuff can be carried along with you. Do not throw left over foodstuff which can take away the beauty of this place and spoil this place. Take a medicated kit which will be helpful anytime.
