Covering a distance of 95 kilometres towards the south west direction of the town of Chikmagalur, the Horse face hill station is located. This place is also well known as Kudremukh range. The peak has a unique name because of its shape.

Leaving out the Arabian Sea, the wide hills are enchained to each other through steep precipices and deep valleys. Kudremukh is not much famous among the tourist, though its natural beauty is worth watching.

There is a transfer done through the pipeline of the mining that is done by the Kudremukh Iron Ore Company. All this has given this place a new look with its natural beauty.
