The world-renowned Vrindavan Garden is located on the top of the Krishna Raja Dam, close to the city of Mysore transversely the Cauvery River and is a scrupulously designed garden.
It was constructed in the year 1932, all through the rule of Krishnaraja Wodeyar who loved parks and gardens.This-mesmerizing garden was intended by Prime minister or Dewan of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, Sir Mirza Ismail.
You can also visit one of the earliest dam constructed in this country, Krishna Raja Sagar Dam. This artificial dam was designed by Sir M. Visvesharaya.
Just beneath this artificial dam, the mesmerizing gardens are placed on each side of huge mock lakes named South-North yards.
One of the special attractions over here is the musical fountains that present stunning harmony of music, water and colors. Many assortments of fountains lighted up at night by multicolored lights.
Each evening the estate becomes lively in a rupture of incredible colors and elucidation when curling and skipping fountains provide an ambiance of fascination to this fantasy world.
