Karnataka`s craft is also called the center of unique damascene, it is also called as Bidri, this type of craft has been introduced through Persian silversmiths, which came to this place during the 15th century along with Bahamani court. These talented and skillful artists imprinted their customary Iranian designs over the metal alloy that has been made by copper, lead, tin and zinc that they can polish after some time. In decoration and design, Karnataka’s artifacts are hugely dominated through prevalent Islamic features. The output shining sliver flowers are afterwards framed in the geometric patterns. Nicely crafted pieces like goblets, hookahs, bangles and paan boxes are intricately designed along with floral patterns and interwoven creepers. The output of elegant silver filigree opposite that sable background was sparkling.
