This place is an archaeological site, which is situated 75 kms away from Palakkad. You, will find the ruins of a huge fort with a mysterious fosse drawn from laterite rock. There is also a temple of Kattil Madom where you will see a dome shaped construction made up of granite slabs on the Guruvayoor to Pattambi Road. These are some of the prime attractions.
These ancient sites were constructed around 9th or the 10th century. This temple according to the researchers marks the changing period from Chola Dynasty to the Pandya Dynasty as this showcased in the style of Architecture.
