Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary :

A distance of about 90 kilometers from Coimbatore, this sanctuary is the sheltering place of animals like Jackals, Pangolin, Tigers, Elephants, Sloth bear, and Porcupine. The scenic beauty of the place is also worth admiration. In the park premises, you will find several groves lush greenery, waterfalls, and reservoirs that dot the entire region. Amusement Park :
Resting in the shade of Nilgiri Hills, Black Thunder, as it is called, is a theme park that is perfect haven for tourists looking forward to recreation and solitary enjoyment. Spread over an area of 65 acres, this park has a number of thrilling rides that are present here. Spend time here by pursuing some of the adventurous rides and spend time in merriment.
Multipurpose Project :
Known as Parambikulam Aliyar Project, there are several dams that have been constructed in order to conserve water for the purpose of power generation and other facilities including irrigation. The waters of a group of Rivers like Thekkadi, Aliyar, Palar, Shiloyar and Thunakadavu. Looking at it, you will be surprised at the engineering marvel created by the skilled workers.
VOC Park :
Named after Chidambaram, a famous freedom fighter, the park is a fascinating tourist place where you can spend time with your family and friends. Kids would love this place as there is a whole lot to do for them here. An aquarium containing a large number of fish species and a mini zoo are the main attractions for them.

Thirumoorthy Temple :
Resting at the foothills of Thirumoorthy Hills, this revered temple is flanked by a stream that flows all through the year. Considered as a revered pilgrim place by the devotees, some of whom come along with their babies for shaving their heads or piercing of body parts, the temple remains open from six in the morning till six in the evening. Another temple that is located nearby is Amalingeshwara where Shiva is worshipped in the form of lingam.
Marudamalai Temple :
This temple of Coimbatore worships Lord Muruga and is visited by a large number of devotees as well as tourists. The word "Marudamalai" means medicine-mountain. If legends are to be believed, the deity Dandayuthapnai performed many miracles here.
Perur Patteeswaraswamy :
Patteeswara or Lord Shiva is the presiding deity over here. The walls are decorated with statues of a number of other gods and goddesses also. The sculptures installed here are quite massive. The festival of Panguni Uthiram is celebrated with full gaiety; as it is the month of March when the festivities are carried out, it is better for you reach here at that times that you can have the glimpse of the colorful ceremonies that are organized here.

Government Museum :
Started in the year 1989, this museum houses a number of ancient remnants that are part of this place. Khadi Gandhi :
