Botanical Garden is a major visitor’s attraction for the ones who visit the exquisite locales of Ooty.Botanical garden spreads over an area of 50 acres and is located on the smaller slopes of (Dodabetta peak) known to be the uppermost point in the entire Ooty.This garden was conventionalized by Marquis of Tweddale in the 80’s.

Unique Layout :

The garden is bordered with white lily pond. The garden also has snappish bushes in elephants form with lifted trunks. You can also enjoy the company of varieties of plants and trees, which are more than 20millions old. In addition, visit the ‘Toda Mund’ a wooden house located in the east side of the botanical garden.

Summer Festival :

Summer Festival is apprehended annually in the month of (May) over here. Flower shows, Adventure Sports, and cultural programmes are also organized.
