Vagator Beach is one of the most popular beach of Goa which is part of a 30 kms stretch of coastline is home to Goan beaches like Anjuna and Calangute. Though the popularity of the beach doesn’t match the neighbours, the sheltered beautiful nature is the best destination to enjoy the quiet holiday with sand, sea and sun for company. The black rocks with golden conflux with cricumvented palm trees gives a heavenly look. You can also have a look at the enchanting 500 years old red-laterite structure of Chapora Fort located nearby which presents an enchanting background. There is limited accomodation and the beach is thronged by most of budget travellers.
The two fresh water springs in Vagator Beach is a major tourists attraction one is located at the foot hill at the north side of the beach, the other being in Ozrant, and is called Zor in the local language. |
