By air : All the prime cities of Maharashtra can be reached through air routes. The capital of the state has two airports; Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport and Santa Cruz domestic airport.

By railways : Maharashtra has a wide network of railways connecting almost every major city and having an expanse of 5554 kms. Konkan railway route is a prime railway network that connects Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka.

By road : The entire length of road network is 246000 km long and covers an area of 308,000 square kilometers. Almost every city of the state can be accessed via road.
