This very much famous mosque, from the city of Aurangabad, it is located around five kilometers. This historical mosque is constructed in the year of 1678, this was built by the Azam Shah, and he was a son of Aurangazeb. He built this monument as a memory of Rabia Durani, his mother. This mosque is known as a finest architecture piece of the Mughal Empire artists, within the region of Deccan. This monument is also called as South India's greatest structure and symbol of India Taj Mahal. This mosque is considered as a similar construction of the finest Taj Mahal. If you have seen the actual Taj Mahal, you will be able to find the similar features with Taj Mahal. The tomb of the Bibi Ka Maqbara contains very many similarities with the tomb of the Taj Mahal. There are similarities, but it failed to give the same impact like Taj Mahal's tomb, because of some architectural mistakes. if you will compare the detailed work of both the monuments, you will understand why Bibi Ka Maqbara failed to look great as Taj Mahal. But still this monument has its own different identity and excellent artistically work. This mosque is also very much famous structure among the Indian people.

You will be impressed just by the entrance of this mosque; it is made of brass with the heading, attached to the edges. To make this, many years were required by the excellent architect. This monument's major architect was a Persian; the name of the architect was Ustad Ata Ullah. Very rich and costly material had been used for the construction of this monument. The heading contains the cost of six lac sixty five thousand two hundred eighty three were required and about seven employees were used to construct this entire Bibi Ka Maqbara mosque. Around 4 bell tower are located at the tomb's central area. The inside part of the mosque is carved in the bright white marble. The pillars of this mosque are made in the red color stone, the beauty of this historical monuments increased double when this delightful architecture's mirror image fall on the front water.

The marble which is below the area of tomb has been designed by the work of lattice. This work contains designs of creepers and flowers which looks very much beautiful. Elegant design of this mosque attracts millions of visitors; this monument structure is assumed as a highest example of the architecture of the Mughal period, if the Taj Mahal had not created. During the night time, the look of this marvelous structure is just mind blowing, the Maharashtra Tourism Department Corporation held a fair at this famous Bibi Ka Maqbara, in the month of October, on the occasion of festival.

To attain this Festival and to take look of this master piece you can choose any transport medium, because Aurangabad district is very well developed place, it is finely connected with main cities of the Maharashtra and also the outside Maharashtra state.
